Baby Soothe is FREE for a limited time in celebration of my new baby boy!

Soothing sounds for crying babies ... and parents.

Only app that allows you to mix sounds to create your perfect soothing environment.

Water sounds:
• Brook
• Rain
• Underwater
• Waterfall
• Waves

Sounds of the womb:
• Heartbeat

White noise:
• Fan
• Static
• Vacuum

All sounds are high-quality stereo sound loops and sound great from either the built-in speaker or from docked speakers. (Do not plug headphones into your babies ears!!!)

Doctors have shown through numerous studies that newborn babies find comfort in surroundings similar to what they experienced for 9 months in their mother’s womb. Swaddling the baby provides a physical womb-like surrounding. BABY SOOTHE provides womb-like ambience to help them sleep easier. Baby Soothe’s simple interface puts these sounds at your fingertips. Select the ambience; tap the screen, that’s it. Seconds later, you will notice a calming effect as your baby recalls the sound and you are on your way to quietly high-fiveing your spouse that the baby is asleep.

The interface also flips over to reveal "Parent Soothe" with words of inspiration for the anxious parent.

Pros and cons of Baby Soothe app for iPhone and iPad

Baby Soothe app good for

With a mix of rain and waves I fell asleep instantly! Very soothing and comforting Needs a timer tho, or itll be going all night...
This is a great app, very soothing, & calming. Puts my husband and daughther straight to sleep:)
I love how u can layer the sounds. The heart beat does work its just a very low sound. The parent soothe is a nice touch.
This app is a lifesaver. I never write reviews for anything so if Im getting on here to tell you how great it is...Trust me!!!! Our 8 wk old is very colicky. I put the vacuum sound on when hes screaming. It puts him to sleep. You can also plug it in your mp3 outlet in your car. The heartbeat sound works really good like that. We have a noise machine but he seems to like this better. Its great too because its portable. People in public think Im crazy, but then they are like that really works. Its worth the money, buy it!!!!
I love this application. My wife and I became addicted to noise makers when we had our first child. Now they have grown out of them and we have not. The rain and waves are perfect and it is such low power draw that we can fall asleep to it and have it stop automatically. Great for travelling -- use it through your headphones on a noisy plane! The Adult Soothe messages are also a bonus, well-chosen and meaningful. Actually all of the apps from this producer are simple, elegant, and do what they promise. A++
It helps my new born fall asleep and calm down, but the heartbeat sound is really low, and doesnt really sound like a heartbeat to me (and I am in the medical field), also the timer doesnt work...I set it for 10min., fell asleep and woke up 3hrs. later and it was still playing!!! I guess for $.99 I get what I paid for!

Some bad moments

I love when it works but I have to restart my phone often for the sounds to work. Without that bug 3-4 stars.
Uh, I think its the same or worse than White Noise. Kinda dumb too,
Better that it is just dollar app, my baby rather felt irritated when I put any voice
Ive had this app for some time now and it will not update to the most current version. Ive tried to make contact with the Baby Soothe Support and didnt get any helpful advice. The app itself is ok, but there are others that do the same thing with more flair for the same price. Id look around and consider other apps, otherwise you might have technical difficulties with updates in the future. That single frustration has led me to look at other apps.
This app would be great if it worked. I installed the app and it worked one time and hasnt worked since. Would like to troubleshoot the problem and get the app working.
Ok, but I only can play it once each time I turn the phone off and on. If I try to play it later there is no sound. :(
